Running L1 Justice Client On a Mac using Wine Software.
Hello everyone,
Maybe there may be some help with this as this game has never been run using wine as far as i can tell at least not where someone has reported and attempted to fix it. I was able to boot up the launcher and download everything needed with exception to the mss32.dll Which I manually downloaded and tossed in the folder. (error resolved) but now i get the libpng13.dll error. I found multiple files of this but was unable to get any of them to work.
Any possible suggestions or solutions you guys can provide would be great!!.
Maybe the full client already has these files in it and I just don't get them from the launcher?
Any help would be great and I played Linage 1 when i was 15 or so and its prolly still the greatest game out there in my opinion! Would love to play it again without having to run bootcamp and buy windows and or buying a pc just for linage 1

Re: Running L1 Justice Client On a Mac using Wine Software.
Hey,
You need to download the full client, that is correct. The launcher ONLY download, is just the launcher. It downloads the updated files. Download the full 4GB package, and try that.

Did you figure out how to get L1 running using Wine? I'm trying the same thing right now and have run into this error when I open jLauncher.exe in Wine.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

What Charles says. Download the full client.
Those DLL are included in the full download. Sometimes you could find them around the NET, but I advice not to do that. Anyway, it will be a bunch of dll conflicts to resolve if you go 1 by 1.
Good luck.
