You can simple create a folder, exclude that folder from windows defender.. then extract the content of the file you download into said folder.

You need to install the full game, and extract it. This same question has been asked multiple times. You only downloaded the launcher, and not the full client. The full client is 4GB, and you need to extract everything into a folder.

No, it's the issue but we can validate it to be sure. Did you try hitting reset and going between fullscreen and windowed mode?

To test the theory of DPI scaling.. go into your Display Settings, then you will see "Scale and Layout" …

On the launcher click reset -> click Full screen and try that.

The issue is high resoltuion laptops .. its an issue with DPI scaling.
